EN471 & ANSI Standards

Standard 4.2 of EN471 details requirements for a range of garment types. Annex B of the Standard illustrates examples of possible designs which meet these requirements (see below)

One horizontal retro reflective body band & braces CLASS 2	Two horizontal retro reflective body bands & braces CLASS 2	Two horizontal retro reflective body bands CLASS 1 OR 2

Class 2 waistcoats:
Class 2 garments MUST incorporate a minimum of 0.5m² of background material and 0.13m² of retro reflective material.

Class 3 jackets:
Class 3 garments must incorporate a minimum of 0.8m² of background material and 0.2m² of retro reflective material
